From friend and teammate , Susan Blaska:
My dad, David Blaska was diagnosed with acute myeloid luekemia (AML) in the summer of 1987, I had just turned 7. He passed away in October of 1988, two weeks after his 44th birthday and my mom was left to raise three young kids on her own. That void never goes away, you carry that with you the rest of your life, having that hole where that unbelievably important person is supposed to be. With your help it no longer has to be that way. LLS is making groundbreaking progress with their research and every dollar that is donated counts!
